The Conners Comprehensive Behavior Rating Scales is scored using a software (PC)  program with responses entered into the program from completed repsonse booklets.  Test administration is completed on paper and pencil Response Booklets with separate Parent Rating Scales (Conners CBRS-P), the teacher rating scales (Conners CBRS-T) and the self-report rating scales (Conners CBRS-SR) available.  Assessment Reports and Progress Reports are also available to help gather and record information and facilitate discussion.

In addition the Conners Comprehensive Behavior Rating Scales also includes an auxiliary scale: the Conners Comprehensive Behavior Rating Scales Clinical Index, CBRS (CI).  The CBRS Clinical Index (CI) form can be administered and handscored using a Quikscore form.  The Conners CBRS Clinical Index forms are available in  parents, teachers and self-reports versions.  The Clinical Index contains 25 items and is used to determine whether a child is likely to have a clinical diagnosis.  The index is helpful when monitoring treatment over a period of time and the client is required to fill out the form multiple times.  This index is included in the Conners CBRS, but can also be purchased separately.

Reports

The Conners CBRS is scored via a computer software program (PC).   Alternatively you may choose to use the new Online Assessment Center forms with reports.

Assessment Reports are comprehensive and include a total score and a symptom count score. These reports are user friendly, convenient and quick, and can be generated in seconds.

Feedback Forms provide parents and teachers and easy to read and understand feedback that summarizes the assessment results.

Progress Reports compare the results of two to four administrations for the same individual to measure changes over time. These reports are ideal to use when monitoring treatment and intervention.

The Conners CBRS software utilises a USB stick which must be connected to the PC wishing to utilise the program.  It is an unlimited use software.

Alternatively, the assessment can be access via the MHS Online Assessment Center for both administration and scoring.
