Description

The CADS scales are an efficient measure of ADHD - ideal for screening or when time constraints prevent a complete CRS-R administration. The ADHD Index was empirically derived from the 12 items best differentiating ADHD children from nonclinical children in several large data sets.  The DSM-IV Symptom Scales directly correspond to the DSM-IV criteria for ADHD diagnosis.

The CADS scales consist of CADS-parent (CADS-P), CADS-Teacher (CADS-T), and CADS-Adolescent (CADS-A).  The CADS-A is a self-report form, while the CADS-P and CADS-T forms have the parent or teacher rate the items according to their experiences with the child/adolescent.

Paper & Pencil Administration

If administered on paper, the CADS scales can be scored quickly and easily using the forms.  Responses transfer through to a hidden scoring page where you complete a few simple calculations to obtain scores.  The CADS Feedback Handouts summarise results from CADS paper assessments and give parents, teachers, and adolescents easy-to-understand information about their responses.

Software Administration

The CADS can be administered and managed on your computer.  A respondent can complete a live administration onto the software on your computer or alternatively you can use the quick entry feature on the software to enter responses from completed paper & pencil administrations for quick scoring and reporting.  Results are graphically displayed in a Profile Report.

Online Administration

CADS is currently offered in online format for use with MHS Scoring Organiser.  MHS Scoring Organiser is an internet-based client management program and is free with your purchase of MHS online reports.  MHS Scoring Organiser helps you manage all your MHS online asssessment tools.  You can instantly generate reports and customise them to suit your purpose.  You can then save them, print them, export them, or integrate the results with your MHS Professional Tool Suite software programs.  You can also track your report uses.
