Welcome to Psychological Assessments Australia (PAA)
Our mission is to provide premier assessment products to psychologists, health practitioners and HR specialists in Australia and New Zealand through superior customer service and professional product support.
Established in 1994 by Walter Howe, a Sydney-based psychologist, PAA is one of the top distributors of psychological assessment products in Australia and New Zealand.
Distribution agreements are currently in place with Pearson Assessments in the U.S.; Multi-Health Systems in Canada and Riverside Publishing, U.S for the Australian language adaptation of the Woodcock Johnson Test Batteries.
Warehousing is in Sydney allowing next day delivery of goods to capital cities around Australia, 2-3 days to country regions and approximately 7 days to our New Zealand customers (pending stock availability).
Computerised testing/reporting is available for many of the products we sell. PC based programs (mostly pay-per-use) allow for either hand or computerised testing of clients and for a variety of reports to be generated from client data.
Scoring Bureau Services are also available for customers who do not want to run their own PC based testing but who want the convenience of computer scoring and reporting. Completed answer sheets are mailed or faxed to PAA in Sydney with computer generated reports returned to clients by fax and/or mail. Our 'standard' service provides a turnaround within 24 hours of receipt. We also offer a 'rush' service with a 2-hour turnaround for practitioners requiring reports in a hurry. PAA can also provide project management for your online scoring assessments. Fees apply.
Online Testing & Reporting is available for certain assessment tools. Several Emotional Intelligence assessments are currently available online, as well as some of the clinical tools such as the Conners Rating Scales-Revised (CRS-R), with many others currently in development.
Professional phone support is provided by our in-house registered psychologist to practitioners who either require assistance selecting assessments or perhaps interpreting reports generated by PAA. Fee may apply.
Local Test Development is encouraged at PAA. We are constantly searching for new products that will be useful to our customers. We welcome any publishing proposals from local authors/test developers.
Workshops & Training programs are organised to support the professional use of our assessments and to provide internationally-recognised certification for the purchase, use and interpretation for our emotional intelligence products.
